Moin, moin!

My name is Dr. Sina Alexa Trautmann-Lengsfeld, and I am a certified Professional Coach, graduated psychologist, neuroscientist, author and science manager. I am in my early 40s, married and mother of twin girls. My heart beats for Hamburg, this is where I feel at home

AND: Coaching with heart and mind is my passion!

During my studies of psychology, I became interested in understanding how people behave and how the brain works. I did my doctorate on the topic of emotion perception in the brain using different methods (electroencephalography, or EEG, and functional magnetic resonance imaging, or fMRI), but at the same time I took further training on topics such as communication, moderation, project management, and goal and time management.

In the following 6 years as a postdoc, I successfully led several research projects at the University of Oldenburg and at the UKE in Hamburg on the topics of social conformity and peer pressure, modulation of brain waves with tACS (transcranial alternating current stimulation), synesthesia and multisensory processing with MEG and EEG.

I have published my results in several international journals and presented at international and national neuroscience congresses, both in poster form and in oral presentations. I have also organized a national mini-symposium on social conformity in 2011 and an international symposium on synesthesia in 2014.

After the birth of my twins and a year of parental leave, I decided to step away from academia and devote myself to graduate school and science management. Here I started organizing events, lectures, symposia and retreats, co-writing external funding proposals and dedicating myself to PhD supervision, PhD training and coaching. Therefore, in 2017, I started my coaching training with Coatrain©, which I successfully completed with official certification in early 2020. Since 2019, I have been working freelance as a Professional Coach and have had various assignments for foundations and  large and medium-sized companies, but also private individuals.

I like to communicate and collaborate with people. I like to tackle things, structure them, analyze them and solve them efficiently and goal-oriented. As a coach I can combine these passions and help to get Coachees on their way in a structured, goal-oriented and efficient way.
